Yamaha's descant horns are handmade and meticulously crafted to perfection by experienced artisans. They offer the sure attacks and control of a descant horn, yet are capable of producing the big full sound of an orchestral horn. They feature accurate pitch, even response, and enough tonal flexibility to play anything from Baroque solos to full-bore Romantic compositions. Yamaha's patented 'long rotor' valve, along with an ingenious tubing configuration makes them comfortable to hold and play. The 882D is the same with an F natural valve to extend range.
