The innovative Yamaha MTS (Multi-Timbre Snare) marching drum offers all-new sound and versatility with a unique double snare system: independently switchable snares on the bottom and top heads give you more distinct sounds than ever before available in a single drum. Developed in cooperation with leading drum corps, schools and pipe bands, the MTS drum combines the musical advantages of multiple timbres with outstanding playability and superior response at all dynamic levels.
