Grand expression modeling
This feature allows the player to fully express themselves in their playing, allowing for hard or light key pressure, increased sensitivity to how the key is released when played along with key repetition, this provides an accurate sound to replicate when a key is played repeatedly, with the vibrations of the string being true to life.
GrandTouch S keyboard
The GrandTouch S keyboard is Yamaha's latest keyboard action which can faithfully translate every nuance from your fingertips into the music. Just like a grand piano, this piano action can replicate the pleasing response felt by the hammers hitting the strings, providing you with complete control over the music. The keys are even coated in a synthetic material to ensure your fingers don't slip when playing for extended periods of time. The 800 series features an adjusted weight, shape and materials to offer a close grand piano action.
Grand touch pedals
The grand touch pedals offer a realistic aesthetic, along with a realistic resistance when playing. These pedals have been designed to have the same specifications as a grand piano pedal, the same friction, and the same pivots and angles to that of a grand piano pedal.

Who said pianos had to be traditional? The Smart Pianist app offers a range of features that places you in control. The app enables you to select instrument voices, adjust various settings, record your performance, and much more! You will find yourself making music faster with this app as it gives you the freedom to do it via your smart device.
Want to play along with your favourite songs? Now you can! Smart Pianist scans the audio songs loaded in your music library, analyses the chord progressions, and then displays them for you on the screen of your smart device. It's that simple. Play along as the chords scroll by, all the while hearing the song playback through your piano's speaker system. Loading MIDI songs into the app will also allow you to follow along with digital sheet music while you play.
